Services

  • LASIK - LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) is a widely used refractive surgery designed to correct common vision issues such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. The procedure reshapes the cornea, improving the way light is focused on the retina, which results in clearer vision. Many patients who undergo LASIK experience significant reductions in their dependence on glasses or contact lenses.
  • Reading Vision Surgery - Reading Vision Surgery is commonly performed to address presbyopia, the age-related loss of near vision. This condition often requires the use of reading glasses. Procedures like monovision LASIK or refractive lens exchange (RLE) are options for correcting presbyopia by adjusting the eye’s focusing ability. These surgeries help improve near vision and reduce the need for corrective eyewear when reading or performing tasks that require close-up focus.
  • Cataract Surgery - Cataract surgery is a routine procedure performed to remove the clouded lens of the eye, known as a cataract. Over time, cataracts cause vision to become blurred or dimmed, significantly affecting quality of life. During surgery, the clouded lens is replaced with a clear artificial intraocular lens (IOL), restoring sharp vision and improving daily visual function.
  • Comprehensive Eye Exams - Comprehensive eye exams are essential for evaluating the overall health of the eyes and detecting any vision problems or eye conditions. These exams consist of several tests that measure visual acuity, check eye pressure, and assess the internal and external structures of the eye. Early detection of conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and refractive errors allows for timely treatment, helping to preserve eye health.
  • Dry Eye Treatment - Dry eye treatment focuses on relieving the symptoms of dry eye disease, a condition where the eyes do not produce enough tears or where tears evaporate too quickly. Treatments can range from the use of artificial tears or prescription medications to more advanced therapies like LipiFlow®, which helps restore tear production and improve overall eye comfort. Addressing dry eye can greatly enhance a patient’s quality of life and protect long-term eye health.
  • Contact Lens Exams - A contact lens exam is necessary to ensure the proper fitting and prescription of contact lenses. During the exam, the eye doctor measures the curvature of the cornea, evaluates tear production, and selects the most suitable contact lenses, whether soft, gas-permeable, or specialty lenses designed for conditions like astigmatism or dry eyes. A well-fitted lens is crucial for maintaining both comfort and optimal vision correction.
  • EVO Implantable Collamer Lens - The EVO Implantable Collamer® Lens (ICL) is a permanent, biocompatible lens implanted inside the eye to correct moderate to severe nearsightedness. This procedure provides a stable, long-term solution for vision correction without altering the cornea’s structure, making it a viable alternative for patients who may not be ideal candidates for LASIK or other laser vision correction procedures.
